In Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, the game's protagonist, Nathan Drake, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind the lost city of Iram of the Pillars. The story begins with a flashback to Nathan's childhood, revealing his first encounter with his mentor, Victor Sullivan, and how they formed a bond.The main narrative picks up in the present day when Nathan, along with his longtime friend and mentor Sully, becomes involved in a search for the lost city after a mysterious artifact, a ring, leads them to the secret organization led by Katherine Marlowe. Marlowe and her agents are also on the hunt for Iram and will stop at nothing to claim its treasure.Nathan and Sully traverse multiple locations, including a daring heist in a London pub, a search for clues in a French château, and an expedition to the deserts of the Middle East. Along the way, they reunite with old allies like Chloe Frazer and Elena Fisher, who also become entangled in the adventure.
